A Bit About Me

My name is Kamrin Weathington, and I grew up on the South Side of Chicago. Ever since I was young, I’ve always appreciated the people around me—not just who they were, but the moments we shared. Growing up, I learned how important memories are, especially in a place where every day comes with its own story. Those experiences taught me to value authenticity, resilience, and connection, and they shaped the way I see the world today.

Photography became my way of holding onto those moments and telling stories that feel real and meaningful. What started as simply documenting my surroundings grew into a passion for capturing honest emotion and everyday life. Through my work, I aim to capture the same genuine energy and emotion that I grew up surrounded by, turning everyday moments into lasting memories. I strive to create a comfortable space for my clients so they can be themselves in front of the camera, knowing their story will be captured with care and intention.

I am a current Illinois State University student and plan to graduate in May 2026, where I continue to develop my skills and creative perspective.
